Just to keep everyone up to date on our annual tax update for FAS Asset Accounting, we are still waiting for the IRS to finalize several tax forms.  Typically, we get these by late October or very early November.  This year they are delayed--maybe significantly.  Our contact at the IRS still can't tell us exactly when they will be done.

For many years now we have been able to make our tax update available for download from FAS SupportPlus Online in mid to late December.  This may push us into releasing in early January.  If the IRS waits too long we will have to provide the 2009.1 tax update without the updated forms and then follow-up with a small patch release to update these.

We are pushing to get this update out as close to a normal schedule as possible.  Let's cross our fingers that the IRS cooperates.
