Hi,

I’m looking at a detailed depreciation expense report ending Dec 31, 2008.   On one of the assets I noticed that the Current YTD depreciation is $400 however the current accum depreciation is $450.00.  This asset had a value of $1800 and was set up with a life of 3 years (Straight Line depreciation) and a place in service date of 3/31/08.  So, my understanding is the YTD and accum as of 12/31/08 should both be $450.00 (9 x 50).  It isn’t though.  How could that happen?
