FAS 2009.1 Tax Update - Now Available!

The FAS 2009.1 Tax Update is now available to download from SupportPlus Online.  For more information about what is included in this release take a look at the What's New document.

This release is primarily targeted at the US commercial versions of the Sage FAS products.  We are also releasing the FAS Gov, FAS Nonprofit, and FAS Canada versions of all of our products to maintain compatibility with the US commercial versions.  You only need to install these if you are also using the US commercial version since they keep all of the common files in sync.

    Thanks,

    Kelly

Re: FAS 2009.1 Tax Update - Now Available!

I have just installed the 2009.1 update to our FAS 100 Asset Accounting software.  When I launch the program the initial splash screen says version 2008.2.  Once the program is launched the upper right hand of the screen shows version 2009.1.  Help/about shows version 2008.2.  How can I tell what version is actually running?  I have sent this info to FAS support, but was wondering if anyone else has had this issue arise.

We have received a few reports of this problem where the version number is not being updated.  The FAS Development team is looking at the problem right now.  It appears that this does not affect the product function in any way; it just looks strange and is a bit annoying.

The FAS Customer Support team has a way to correct the problem by manually changing a registry entry.  You can contact them at 1-800-331-8514 for assistance.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and confusion this issue is causing and are looking into resolving it as quickly as possible.

    Thanks,

    Kelly
