Welcome Usability is all about designing effective products that enable you to achieve your business goals. At Sage FAS, we’re committed to creating intuitive, well-designed software that enables you to spend less time managing fixed assets and more time running your business. We’re excited to finally have an area in which to learn more about you and the way you use Sage FAS. We'll use this area to share potential design concepts, ask for your opinion or input on design decisions, and provide regular updates on the progress of development. Sandbox Session: Can You Spot the Usability Enhancements?

In the newly designed user interface, we're making a number of enhancements to improve usability and reduce the amount of clicking you need to do. By just looking at the screen shot below, can you tell:

How many assets are in the currently selected group?
Which assets have an image attached?
Which assets have notes?
Which column is the "sort" column for this view?
Which tasks can be performed in this view?
How you would export the assets in this group to Excel?
How you would print a list of assets in this group?

We've also added a much-requested enhanced Find feature, that provides wildcard search terms (such as "begins with") and allows you search book fields (such as "placed in service date"). Which icon do you think represents the new Find feature?
