To find information about the latest version of FAS Asset Accounting
available, Go to: www.sagefas.com/update.
- Launch browser and browse to http://www.sagefas.com/support.
- Log into website:
- If logging on for first time, Click on register and create
an account.
- If the password was forgotten, Click on send you a
reminder.
- On the left hand side click on Product & Documentation.
- In the -----Choose Product----- pull down box select
desired product (Ex. FAS 100 Asset Accounting Single User for the Standalone
version) | Click Get Product Update.
- Select desired patch or file and download.
- NOTE: There is no difference
between Site 1 & 2. (Make sure you save the file to a
location which you will remember).
- When the download is complete, click the Close button
- Locate and run the installation file using windows
explorer.
NOTE: The
following steps are to be used if you are prompted for unzipping software or
receive "Open With" when running the downloaded file.
WARNING:
Please check with the the local IT before installing any program or
utility. Best Software is not capable of and will not support these
utilities.
- All FAS product downloads are zipped and have the .zip extension. An
unzipping utility is usually needed to extract the file.
- First right click on the zip file and see if there is an option to extract
the following file. Make sure the file is extracted to a known location. Go to
the location and there will be an .EXE file to use.
- If the extract option is not available then there is no unzipping
utility installed you will have to obtain a ZIP utility. To obtain this utility
Shareware versions of popular unzipping programs such as WinRAR, Winzip.
