In FAS Asset Accounting:

1. Go to: File | Company Utilities | Backup Company.
   • Note: Click the Select All button to backup up all the companies in the database.
2. Select location for backup
   • Note: Backup should be saved to the local hard drive of the machine running FAS.
3. Specify a name for the backup file in the file name field (version 2000.2 and higher)
4. Click Backup

NOTE: The backup process can take a long time to complete. Do NOT End Task this process.

NOTE: To backup multiple companies: Just highlight all the companies to be backed up, or press select all to back up all of them. The system will back up these companies to a single file.
