Sage FAS Asset Accounting allows you to store images and associate them with a selected
asset under the asset's Image tab.

Images may include digital photographs or scanned documentation such as warranties, purchase orders,
or sales agreements. Sage FAS Asset Accounting will accept standard graphic formats, including JPEG, PCX files,
and Windows bitmaps. Once an asset is added to the Image Catalog, it is incorporated into your database. To limit the
impact on database size, it is recommended that you use the JPEG format because it offers the best compression.
The first step to using an image is to get it into the Image Catalog. Select Customize/ Image Manager from the menu
bar. This will display the Image Manager dialog box.

Enter a name in the "Image name:" window and hit the Add button. That will bring
up the Select Image File dialog box.

In this dialog box, you specify the path to the folder that holds your graphic file, and
select the file format. The file name will appear in the blank area on the left. Once the file name is highlighted
a smaller version of the image will appear in the box in the lower right-hand corner. Click on the file and push
the OK button. The file has now been added to the Image Catalog.
If you look at the other buttons available in the Image Manager dialog box, you will see that you can rename,
delete, or replace an existing image. To complete those functions, simply highlight the Image name and push
the appropriate button.
Once an image has been added to the Image Catalog, it is easy to add it to an asset's Image Page. From
the Detail View of an asset, click the Image tab. Once in the Image Page, push the Show Catalog button. This
will bring up the complete listing of all of the images stored in the catalog, and will also change the Show
Catalog button to Hide Catalog. You then select an image name. The image will appear on the right side of the tab.

Then push the << Add button. The listing will move from right to left, and will appear
under Asset's Images.
You can add as many images as you want to an asset, so if you have a digital photograph, an image of a warranty
document, and an image of a purchase order, you can connect all of those images with this asset. You can also use
an image with any number of assets. If five assets were purchased under one purchase order, you could link all
five assets with an image of that purchase order. You can also detach an image by highlighting its listing under
Asset's Images and hitting the Delete >> button.
Once an image is added, you can view and print the image. To view the image, just go to the asset in the Detail
View, and hit the Image tab. Highlight the name of the image under Asset Images. The image will appear on the
right side of the tab.

To print the image, simply hit the Print Image button, and the highlighted image will be sent to
the printer.
Images are a very easy way to keep all of your asset information together within Sage FAS Asset Accounting. By using
the images function, you can keep photographs and images of documentation together with your asset data. This can
simplify your asset record keeping.
